150W LED Power Supplies Operate to 70 C

Mean Well has added the ELG family of LED power supplies with the goal to achieve the optimal price-performance ratio model with a highly competitive pricing. The ELG family comprises the wattage from 75W through 240W. All of the models operate for the input range 180- to 295-Vac. ELG-150-C is the first series that is announced- a 150W power supply with constant-current and high-voltage output. This series adopts a fanless design; with the high working efficiency greater than 91%, it can work between the ambient temperatures of -40 and +70 degrees C under free air convection.

ELG-150-C offers multiple function options, dimming functions and IP protection levels that can perfectly satisfy the design flexibility for lighting fixture designers. ELG-150-C fits all kinds of LED luminaire applications, such as LED street lighting, LED harbor lighting, LED bay lighting, LED greenhouse lighting, etc.

The ELG-150-C includes built-in power factor correction, short-circuit, over-voltage and over-voltage protection, and complies with the harmonic current limits set by EN61000-3-2 Class C (≧50% load). These power supplies meet 6kV surge immunity level (EN61000-4-5) and have safety approvals from UL, CUL, ENEC, CB, and CE. The type “HL” is designed for use in class I, Division 2 hazardous (classified) location luminaires. The metal case measures (L x W x H) 280 x 144 x 48.5 mm, and these units come with a 5-year warranty.
