Say in our user guide(http://www.newarebattery.com/how-to-start-to-use-neware-bst4000-series/), one of the most important steps of connecting the computer to the battery tester is set up the IP address correct. In most cases, it would be easy for you to set up your computer IP to 192.168.1.250, which is the default setting value in our system.
But in reality, sometimes you don’t want to or can’t modify the IP address of your computer IP address to 192.168.1.250, say your computer IP address is 67.56.123.55 or whatever, now you want to connect the controller without changing the computer IP.
You just need to use the small buttons on the controller change the values as following:
Get IP Method: MANUAL
LP: 67.56.123.54(it should be an available IP address in the same network segment as your computer IP).
SP: 67.56.123.55
SM: 255.0.0.0(or Same as what you’ve set up on your computer).
GW: x.x.x.x(Same as what you’ve set up on your computer).
Then your computer can connect with the controller successfully.
