Channel in parallel, parallel channels for higher current

Attention: Chanels parallel function can only be made on Neware 5V and 20A or higher testers, such as 5V20A/30A/50A/100A/500A. For all the other testers not 5V or lower than 20A, please don’t use parallel function on them, it might burn the tester. To increase the current for the test purpose, we can put up to maximum 4 channels in parallel.

Channel Information

The channel details can be checked through channel information. The channel details are including: Current channel property, Working step details, current measurement range(dual range), Voltage measurement range, middle machine information, lower machine information, Client version,Server version,etc. Select the channel you want to check, right click “Channel Info” If you have more questions, please contact me with: collin@newarebattery.com

Channel status information

Stopped: Working step haven’t completed, it’s on stop state. Finished: Working step have completed. Protected: It have reached some of protection conditions(Eg Voltage limitation…), channel is under protection, it can click and view the reason. Clear mark

For the channel under “protected, stopped,paused” status, we can use “clear mark”to change them into “finished” status. Select the channel you want to change, right click, simply click”Clear mark”, as a result, it’s status will be finished. If you have more questions, please contact me with: collin@newarebattery.com

Curves Setting

Click “Five-Pointed Star” to check the current curve type. Click “+”, customize your curves (X axes, Y axes, background color).

Time Format

“Time Format” of the software defaults to the models of “Single Step” and “Auto”. “Single Step” here means that the record time of each working step is independent. If you cancel the “Single Step”, record time of every single working step will be shown constantly.
