There are always uncontrolled elements in our life. For example, after one-month testing, you start to export the testing data. However your computer crashes because of too much data; Or you find the testing data is lost without reasons when you need it,etc. These situations are enough to make you distraught, right? Here i’ m going to teach you a tip to avoid these situations–backup setting.

Step 1: Select the channels you want to backup, right click and choose “Single start”.

Step 2: Click “Backup setting”.

Step 3: In Backup Setting window, you have to finish following information.
Backup folder: choose backup data saving path. You can click “Browse” to decide the saving path.(Notes: If you want to save data to public network, you have to enter the path name rightly, clicking “ Browse” is not useful. For example, the correct path name of following figure is “ \\Networkd IP\xxx\xxx\”).
File name: select the file name you want. There are there types: Default file name/ Barcode/ User-defined name. (Notes: You’d better not choose “ Postfix backup time to file name if same name files”.That it only has one data file. Otherwise there will be too many repetitive data files which consume computer disk place.)

File Format: the data saving format, NDA or EXCEL. (Notes: the better one is “NDA”, as it can export to EXCEL, but EXCEL can not export to NDA”.
Backup Condition: Three choices for you. Choose them carefully according to your requirements.
Notes:
1.Weather you choose the first or second choice, you must choose third choice together.
2.When you select first choice, the time interval should be longer, if not it is very easy to make computer crash or to be very slow because of frequent backups.
3.When you are busying in dealing with your business on the computer where you are testing, the second or third one is better for you. Or too many backups will cause the computer system to be very slow.

Step 4: Click “OK” and start the test. The backup setting will begin to take effect according to your setting. You can find your backup data in the appropriate time and location.
