The MIW-50-D0-IP66 Series of compact, 50-W power supplies from Absopulse Electronics Ltd. are designed for applications that require a low power, rugged waterproof, dust-proof, explosion-proof ac-dc or dc-dc power solution. The units operate across a full universal input range of 90- to 264-Vac and provide a single output of 5-, 12-, 24-, 36-, 48-, 72-, 130-Vdc or custom. The series also offers dc-inputs of 250-Vdc (210- to 290-Vdc), 300-Vdc (250- to 350-Vdc), or custom. Efficiency rating is load dependent, typically a minimum of 80% at full load.
Packaged in compact 5.8″ x 4.2″ x 2.9″ IP66-rated die cast aluminum sealed enclosures, the MIW-50-D0-IP66 units are impervious to moisture, humidity, sand, dust, oil and other contaminants. They comply with ATEX explosion protection regulations; sparks originating within the enclosures will not ignite gases, dust and other flammable elements in the surrounding air. To ensure immunity to high levels of shock and vibration, the internal boards are ruggedized and conformal coated. The power supplies are suitable for heavy industry, transportation, mining, marine, military, oil and gas, telecom, electrical utility, and other harsh environments.
