There are many reasons. One of the reason is that BTS4000-5V12A has dual ranges: 5mA-1A, 1A-12A. Because the accuracy of the model is ±0.05% of FS, the current accuracy of the first range is 1A * 0.05% = 0.5mA, and the second range is 12A * 0.05% = 6mA. You see that? 12 times maccurate than the second range (normal range)! Thus, if our customers want to use it to test coin cell, they do not need to buy another one due to the accuracy. In one sense, this is buy-one-get-one-free!
Of course, high C-rate charge(Quick charge) is another reason. For a 3000mAh battery, people want to charge it at 6000mA(2C) or even 9000mA(3C) current.
