Mean Well Enterprises Co. Ltd. has expanded its LP family of entry-level lighting power for constant current LED power applications with the addition of the 150W LPC-150 series. These new power supplies join the LPLC-18/LPHC-18 (18W), LPC-20 (20W), LPC-35 (35W) and LPC-60 (60W). With the Class II (no FG), and non-PFC design, as well as the plastic case, LPC-150 is highly competitive in terms of cost.
LPC-150 series accepts the input from 180Vac through 305Vac and provides ten models ranging between 350mA and 3150mA. The entire series delivers an efficiency up to 90%; moreover, the interior of this model is fully potted with heat-conducted silicone which effectively enhances the heat dissipation capability, so that without the built-in fan this series is specified for operation between -25 and +50 degrees with free air convection cooling.
