Semiconductor Circuits, Inc. introduces the new “Cool Power Technologies” ultra-wide input range 1×1 dc-dc converter series. These open frame modules provide up to 30W of output power @ output voltages of 1.8-, 3.3-, 5.0-, and 12-Vdc – for industrial or distributed power architecture applications. These modules are compliant with the standard 1×2 footprint and interface standards. It has a wide input voltage range of 9- to 36-Vdc and provides 2250-Vdc input-to-output isolation.
The CP30B 4:1 input series meets EN 60950 basic insulation requirements and is UL94 V-0 flammability rated. The module complies with all of the typical industry requirements including no load operation, 2X nominal input voltage transient and pre-biased load startup.
The modules feature a standard 1×2 pinout with dimensions of 0.96” L x 0.96” W (24.38mm x 24.38mm.) It has a maximum height of 0.35″ (8.9mm) which accommodates tight card spacing with minimal airflow blockage of downstream components.
