3-position and 5-position Power Connectors

Anderson Power Products (APP) announces the addition of the Panel Mount Connector to the 3-position Mini PL family of SPEC Pak® sealed connectors. This compact, panel mountable connector is capable of 22A at 600 Vac or Vdc (UL). APP also added a 5-position offering to the Mini SPEC Pak® connector family. This environmentally-sealed and touch-safe connector houses up to 5 contact positions in a compact latching shell.

The Panel Mount Connector is secured to a panel via a jam nut and, like the other connectors in the 3-position Mini PL family, features a manual release latch to prevent accidental un-mating. Its rugged shell is waterproof to IP68, fire resistant to UL94 V0, weather resistant to UL746C F1 and touch safe per UL1977. 3-position Mini PL connectors leverages PowerMod® pin and socket contact technology. These 30µ gold plated contacts will accommodate wire sizes from 24 to 12 awg (0.25 to 3.30 mm²). The pins are available in three length providing sequencing capabilities for design flexibility.

The new 5 Position Mini PL SPEC PAK® Connector features power handling capabilities up to 23A and 600 Vdc or Vac per pole allow more power in a smaller waterproof (IP68) shell than competing solutions. A unique and easy to assemble back shell design enables the 5-position Mini PL to accommodate up to 12 AWG (2.5 mm²) wires while maintaining the compact size. Gold plated contacts down to 24 AWG (0.25 mm²) are suitable for power or signal needs. Optional sequencing capabilities are available for design flexibility.
