IGBT Modules handle 75 to 229 kW

Powerex has added a new line of Integrated Power Modules (PIPM) in a configurable IGBT-based power platform. The module has rated power outputs from 75- to 229-kW and operate on dc bus voltages from 400 to 800 Vdc and switching frequencies of up to 20 kHz.

Recommended: 900V / 32A SiC MOSFETs Outperform Silicon

The power module can be mounted on various heatsinks, including both forced air and liquid cooled options, dependent upon application requirements. Applications include three-phase inverters; dc-dc Convertors; choppers; half or full bridge; and power supply applications.

The PIPM is compatible with the NX-Series of Mitsubishi IGBT devices and is well suited for energy storage, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), motor drives, solar, wind, photovoltaics, EV and hybrid electric vehicle
applications.
