Low Vf ORing Solution Enables Substantial Efficiency Increases

Bellnix Co., Ltd. introduces the BID series ORing Diode module. The BID series has a low forward voltage drop(Vf), enabling substantial reduction of power loss. This low power loss will support applications which consume large power as Data center, Server and Telecommunication systems etc. Redundant system or battery backup system are often used in these applications to prevent the shut off of system operation and ORing diode function is always necessary to support these system.

To help mitigate the increased power dissipation loss Bellnix developed ORing diode module with very little forward voltage drop. The BID series shows a 12x reduction in power loss versus diodes. In addition to a power loss improvement, the BID Series reduces a thermal management overhead for your current systems, resulting in reduced power consumption.

Where to use the ORing module: ORing module can use at the junction of current. Redundant system; Redundancy for power supply (Mount on output of power supply); Redundancy for equipment (Mount to inlet of equipment or of the board ).
