NBIS stands for Neware Battery Information System. This is a system oriented for mass production. NBIS gathers all testing results with a bar-code as their primary key. Testing results are including capacity, OCV, impedance and etc. You can even get data when applying a calculation rule, like capacity retention or OCV difference after a long-time standby. This information could easily be utilized by QA to sort out those batteries out of specifications, or get grouped by some grouping rules or matrix.
LIMS, abbreviation of Laboratory Information Management System, is designed for Laboratory or testing center. LIMS manages all testing facilities, testing activities, testing data and testing reports.
