Sanken Electric Co. Ltd. has added the STR-A6000HZ/MZ series are pwm switching power ICs with low standby power. Power consumption of the products is less than 25mW with no load condition. Under no load condition, oscillation operation is switched to burst mode by the Automatic Standby Mode function. Models are available with switching frequencies of 60kHz and 100kHz.

The Brown-In/Brown-Out function of the ICs is designed to suit the power supplies in regions with unstable input voltage. The ICs are also suitable for standby power supplies, power supplies for small appliances, and adapters.
The product lineup includes a total of 6 types of ICs, which are all equipped with a 700V-power MOSFET in DIP8 package, and helps customers select from operation frequencies (60kHz, 100kHz) and on-resistance of power MOSFET (6Ω, 3.95Ω, 2.3Ω).
