The DRÄXLMAIER Group will be exhibiting their HV connectors at the electronic trade fair in Munich. Trade visitors will find out all about the versatile connector for high-voltage applications from November 11th through 14th in Hall B3 at stand 256. The high-voltage connector made by the automobile supplier can be used throughout industry, even in navigation and railway transportation. This high-voltage connector was developed for special fields from between 16 and 50 mm² in aluminum and copper wires and meets all the safety requirements at voltages of up to 1,000V and high direct currents. Thus, the connector has proved to be extremely resistant to elevated temperatures and ageing in a range of between -40 and 170 degrees C. The ampacity of a 50 mm° wire at 83 degrees C, for example, is 275A.
The waterproof HV connector is also compatible for AK interfaces and has closed 360 degrees contacting and durable line terminals. HV connectors have successfully proven their stability in vibration tests on rough road and high-speed sections. They meet the requirements for resistance to vibrations according to LV 251. HV connectors also provide excellent EMV shielding.
