BTS4000 for DCIR test

DCIR or d.c. resistance is another key parameter to know a battery’s quality ( self-discharge, power characteristic, state of health). DCIR test is usually brought out in short time. So tester’s capability is critical to the testing result.

In summary, response time, timing control and data acquisition frequency are the three main key parameters taken into account.

Response time: BTS4000 responses set current in less than 10 milliseconds.

Timing control: BTS4000 has an accurate timing control, rendering accurate executing time as set.

Data Acquisition Frequency: BTS4000 enables a highest data acquisition frequency of 100Hz.

In 10 seconds, 1000 groups of data were acquired. Above red-circled data points may be applied for a DCR calculation due to low data acquisition frequency.

A better repeatability of BTS4000 is presented by below single value chart.
